Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the difference between Ignite and Ignite V3?

Ignite is supplied as a single-fan set (Model No.: KNG-CF-36-B), while Ignite V3 is supplied as a three-fan set (Model No.: KNG-CF-63-B). Both models share the identical high-performance 120 × 120 × 25 mm fan technology, hydraulic bearings, 5V ARGB lighting, and modular interlocking system.

2. How does the interlocking system work?

The interlocking system allows compatible Ignite fans to connect directly to each other via slide-and-lock pins, aligning multiple fans and eliminating loose connection cables between adjacent fans for a clutter-free installation.

3. What is the operating speed and airflow rating?

Ignite fans operate between 800 and 1800 RPM through 4-pin PWM control, delivering up to 56.8 CFM of focused airflow with smooth hydraulic bearings.

4. What motherboard headers and voltages are required?

The fan motor operates at 12V via a 4-pin PWM header, and the ARGB lighting operates at 5V via a 3-pin ARGB header. Caution: Do not connect the 3-pin 5V ARGB cable to a 4-pin 12V RGB header, as this will damage the LEDs.

5. Can the lighting be synchronized with PC components?

Yes. The Addressable RGB lighting synchronizes seamlessly via compatible motherboard software (Asus Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome) or any standard 5V 3-pin ARGB controller.

6. Can fan speed and lighting be controlled separately?

Yes. Fan speed (4-pin PWM) and ARGB illumination (3-pin 5V) use separate control lines, allowing customized speed profiles in your motherboard BIOS while synchronizing dynamic lighting independently.

7. Are mounting screws and vibration pads included?

Yes. Standard 120 mm fan mounting screws are included, and integrated rubber pads on the mounting corners absorb vibrations to ensure quiet operation.
